TWM2 Fatimid Caliphate story

ACT 1

After the fall of the Abbasid Caliphate, the Muslim World fell into disarray, where several big powers assume control of their respective territories (like Persia, Almoravids, Hejaz in Arabia, etc), and many independent Emirs began fighting one another for control over their respective regions. During this time, three different Crusades occurred, taking control of Jerusalem, Antioch and Edessa.
And there rises Emir Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun, Emir of Gaza, and his dynasty, alongside the al-Hashimi dynasty, whose armies marched onwards and conquers Damietta and Cairo (and the territory of Luxor, under the administration of Cairo).
During the siege, the Head of the al-Hashimi dynasty died honourably in battle, leaving his son, Musqsim al-Hashimi, to lead the dynasty.
With control over Gaza, Damietta and Cairo, Emir Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun declares himself as the Caliph of a new Caliphate, the Fatimid Caliphate, and aims to reunite the Muslim World to its former glory once again. Muslims from all over the region were inspired by his actions and journeyed to Gaza to join the Great Caliph's Army.
Emir Harun al-Sa'igh, Emir of Alexandria, swore fealty to the Fatimid Caliphate.
Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj, Emir of Al Aqaba, swore fealty to the Fatimid Caliphate.
Emir Kathir al-Abbasi, Emir of Tayma, swore fealty to the Fatimid Caliphate.
Upon formation of the Caliphate, Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun invites the three Emirs to be part of the Caliph's Council. All three Emirs were issued the 'Caliph's Letter of Service', where the Emirs will be required to offer military services (by leading armies) to the Caliphate. All three Emirs must also prove themselves worthy before the council members of the Caliph's Council, that they are worthy to administer their holdings for Islam and the Caliphate. The Emirs must participate honourably in battles to earn an endorsement from the Caliph's Council.
Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun, Caliph of the Fatimid Caliphate
1. Caliph Al-Musta'li led the Great Caliph Army in the Jihad on Acre. Emir Kathir al-Abbasi participated in this battle alongside the Caliph. The Caliph won the battle against Emir Lufti, Emir of Acre. The administration of Acre was given to Musqsim al-Hashimi, of the al-Hashimi dynasty. Musqsim al-Hashimi was promoted to Emir: Emir Musqsim al-Hashimi, Emir of Acre.
2. Caliph Al-Musta'li led the Great Caliph Army in the campaign on Damascus. Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj participated in this battle alongside the Caliph. The Caliph won the battle against Emir Sabram, Emir of Damascus.
3. The Caliph retires from battle, due to old age, and resides in Gaza.
Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj, Emir of Al Aqaba
1. Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun offers his army and resources to Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj, for his rivalry with Emir Abul-Qasim, Emir of Kerak. After conquering Kerak, the council members stated that it was the Caliph's army that determined the conquest of Kerak, and did not endorse Emir Wadih.
2. During the campaign of the Levant, Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj sought permission from Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun, to sail to Tortosa and battle with Emir Cerab, Emir of Tortosa. Scouts reported that Emir Cerab has set up his army to camp on Mount Al-Hamrat, to overlook the valleys for the neighbouring Crusader armies. Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj won the battle. Word of his victory spread throughout the region. After receiving the endorsement from Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun, the council members voted to endorse Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj, as the de facto Emir of Al Aqaba.
3. Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj satisfies the requirement of the 'Caliph's Letter of Service', where he participates in the campaign for Damascus.
4. Emir Wadih al-Hajjaj receives a public commendation from Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun, during the time when he apprehended an organised band of brigands. Emir Wadih vows to strengthen the bond between the al-Fatimiyyun dynasty and the al-Hajjaj dynasty, and further cement his loyalty to the Caliph's orders.
Emir Kathir al-Abbasi, Emir of Tayma
1. Emir Kathir al-Abbasi satisfies the requirement of the 'Caliph's Letter of Service', where he participates in the Jihad for Acre. The council members did not endorse Emir Kathir during this battle, because his participation was outshined by the Caliph and the greater army.
2. On the way home, Emir Kathir al-Abbasi led his men to confront Sa'd, a notorious outlaw, who terrorises outlying villages and estates outside Kerak. Sa'd and his men are holed up in the nearby caves and hills in the desert. Emir Kathir al-Abbasi won the battle against Sa'd when raiding the caves. Word of his victory spread across the region. After receiving the endorsement from Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun, the council members voted to endorse Emir Kathir al-Abbasi, as the de facto Emir of Tayma.
3. Emir Kathir al-Abbasi is currently retired from the Caliph's service, having satisfied the requirement of the 'Caliph's Letter of Service'. He currently administers Tayma as an independent Emir within the Fatimid Caliphate, unless, of course, a good event happens which cements his loyalty to the Caliph.
Emir Harun al-Sa'igh, Emir of Alexandria
1. Emir Harun al-Sa'igh comes from a very wealthy dynasty in Alexandria, and therefore has the favour of the council members of the Caliph's Council. He has devoted a significant amount of time, building up a grand fleet for the Fatimid Caliphate, and developing the city of Alexandria.
2. Towards the south of Cairo, Emir Harun al-Sa'igh led his men to confront the army of the notorious Nubian warlord, Aishah al-Awzali, that has been raiding and terrorising the region. Emir Harun won the battle against Aishah. Word of his victory spread across the region. After receiving the endorsement from Caliph Al-Musta'li al-Fatimiyyun, the council members voted to endorse Emir Harun al-Sa'igh, as the de facto Emir of Alexandria.
3. Emir Harun al-Sa'igh introduces his cousin to marry the Caliph's daughter. The Caliph accepted this arrangement, as his cousin was militarily-driven and has the potential to lead the Caliph's army, should the Caliph pass on from old age. This strengthens the ties between the al-Fatimiyyun dynasty and the al-Sa'igh dynasty.
4. Emir Harun al-Sa'igh led his men on a jihad against Benghazi. (This is a dynastic campaign, as the al-Sa'igh dynasty has been eyeing an expansion in Benghazi for years) The jihad on Benghazi was a smooth success, where Emir Harun al-Sa'igh and his army easily conquered the town. However, the scouts and advisors reported that several retinues of the Byzantine army were sighted in the outlying regions of Benghazi. They also advised that the former Emir of Benghazi was already killed in battle against the Byzantines, and that Benghazi has been leaderless since.
