Gallewen Region - Rafthen and surrounding areas

The free town of Rafthen contains special buildings:

1. 1 x Abbey (Religion: Mother Meladuna, the goddess of affection)

2. 3 x Thieves' Guilds (i.e., Blackfyre Thieves Guild, Gandalum Thieves Guild, Apiroc Thieves Guild)

3. 4 x Mercenary Guilds (i.e., The Rafthen Mercenary Guild, Blackfyre Mercenary Guild, Apiroc Mercenary Guild, Mitchen Mercenary Guild)

4. The Blackfyre Sugar Company - is a major sugar producer in the southern island.  The company owns large plantations that stretches across acres of the surrounding lands.


Society
The society of Rafthen is described as crime-filled and one that is full with corrupt politics.  Thieves rule the town from underground.  Citizens of all walks would hire thieves and mercenaries to do their bidding.  Unruly politics is the common game played by the powerful in this town. The poor are normally the ones who suffers from this societal system.

The abbey of Mother Meladuna does give hope to the people. But then again, the abbey itself operates like a business.

Surrounding Areas
The surrounding areas of Rafthen has wandering trolls and giants. Thieves and bandits also lurk the areas.
